Ms. Fanely Phiri
Nsenga Bible Translator—Zambia
Before joining the Nsenga Bible Translation team in Zambia as a mother-tongue translator, Ms. Fanely Phiri earned a Certificate in Information Technology/Communications and worked as a secretary for Petauke School of Careers and Pasme Agri-Business Center. She is active in her local congregation, the Reformed Church in Zambia, where she sings in the choir.
Ms. Phiri is married and has three children. Her youngest daughter, Caroline, was only two months old when the translation project started. We pray that Carol and many other Nsenga children will grow up in a world where they can read and hear God speaking to them in their own mother tongue!
