  2. Pray for wisdom and peace for Rob and Eshinee Veith as they prepare to return to the United States. Pray that God will continue to bless the Wayeyi Bible translation project as they make His Word accessible to the Shiyeyi people.
  3. Praise God for Janet Borchard’s productive visit to the Ipili Bible translation project in Papua New Guinea. Pray that God will continue to bless the project as Janet meets with partners remotely from the United States.
  4. Pray for Karen Campbell, LBT’s missionary services manager, as she transitions to living in Concordia, Missouri.
  5. Pray for Rev. Carl and Kelsey Grulke and their children as they move back to Iowa for partnership development.
  6. Pray for the Ikom cluster in Nigeria as they hold their second workshop over the next couple of weeks. Pray that the attendees would be blessed with safe travels, good health, and that the language communities will meet their goals.
  7. Pray for God’s blessings of strength and discernment for the Nizaa Bible translation team in Cameroon as they begin team checking the book of Luke.
  8. Pray for Amy Formella as she continues to adjust to living in Sierra Leone. Pray that God will direct her steps.
  9. Pray that God will bless the Concordia Mission Institute summer conference planning team with His wisdom and peace in this final month of planning.
  10. Pray for Elliot and Serena Derricks and their children as they begin fundraising and preparing to leave for their first field assignment to Cameroon in January.
  11. Pray that God will work in the hearts and minds of many so that there will be continued local support of Bible translation projects and literacy in Liberia.
  12. Praise God for the baptismal birthday of Rev. Mike Kuhn as he faithfully serves in Cameroon. May God pour out His blessings of grace, mercy, and peace upon him.
  13. Pray for the Themne Bible translation team in Sierra Leone as they continue translation of the Old Testament. May God give them clarity, insight, and focus.
  14. Pray for smooth transitions for Ed Largaespada, LBT’s new financial manager, and his family as they move to Missouri.
  15. Praise God for the faithful service of Joe Dunsey, former CFO for Lutheran Bible Translators. Pray that God would guide him as he serves in God’s mission in new ways.
  16. Praise God for Jim Laesch and Rev. Michael Megahan and their successful visit to the Kerewe Bible translation project in Tanzania last month.
  17. Give thanks to God for Rev. Tim and Lisa Beckendorf as they faithfully serve in the Khwedam Bible translation project in Botswana. Pray that God would show them His wondrous mercies with each new day.
  18. Praise God for the gift of fathers and grandfathers. May God work in their hearts that they may be a blessing and reflect the Father’s love.
  19. Pray for travel mercies and a smooth transition for Rev. David and Valerie Federwitz and their family as they return to the United States for furlough and partnership development.

  25. Praise God for Rob and Mical Hilbert as they diligently serve alongside national partners in the Shekgalagari Bible translation project in Botswana. Pray that God will lift them up with His abundant grace.
